What is a Diner Film?

Any TV show, documentary, or short film begins with an idea. At Diner Films we take pride in assisting directors and producers develop that idea for the biggest and smallest of screens. From pre-production through post-production, a Diner Film is a film made with passion and care.

Meet the Team

Starting in 2024, Jake and Mason began with a pilot titled The Chlorine Bible. By the end of 2025, Diner’s roster had grown to more than ten short films, pilots, and documentaries.


  • CEO | Post-Production Manager

    A member of the 2024 NYU Tisch graduating class, Jake has worked in a diverse array of mediums, including directing over 25 short films, documentaries, advertisements, and music videos. He also is an experienced music producer, composing for both films and fellow NYC musicians. At Diner he is in charge of the post-production side of films.


  • CFO | Producer

    Mason Kidd is a New York-based award-winning producer and co-founder of Diner Films. Mason has worked as a freelance photographer and producer in Los Angeles and New York City since 2019. He graduated from the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU in May 2023 and frequently travels the continental United States for photography and film. At Diner, Mason handles the pre-production and production side of films.
